It was announced on Tuesday March 10th 2026 that the Dayton Hamvention?s Special Achievement Award for 2026 is being awarded to Joe Fell, W3GMS and Martha Fell, N3QBE of Ercildoun, PA.

The Special Achievement Award will be given to a deserving amateur that has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the radio art and or science. This award is given to a respected amateur who spearheaded a single significant project or activity.
