Hi everyone,

I am the advisor for our high school amateur radio club, W1HLO.  One of the projects our students is working on is recreating our original station, which was a Hammarlund HQ-129X and a Harvey Wells TBS-50D Bandmaster Deluxe with a D-104 mic.  We have the receiver and the mic as well as the power supply for a TBS-50D... all we need is the TBS-50D Bandmaster Deluxe and the matching VFO.  See the attached picture from our club in 1959.

The kids are busily restoring the HQ-129X at the moment, replacing the wax caps and testing the resistors, all the while learning about how to read a schematic, how to solder, and what do capacitors, resistors, and inductors really do.  I'd like to purchase a TBS-50D with or without the VFO to complete our station for our kids to restore and put on the air.

Please let me know if you have a Bandmaster Deluxe for sale.  Thank you!
