Im re-listing my Collins 30K-4 transmitter.  You can see recently taken pictures on the site below.  Copy and paste the following link into your browser window.  Take a look at this very fine example of Collins design and workmanship.  You won't find many better and the audio reports you will receive will make your heart sing!  More details below the link.

The beautiful example was completely redone 10 years ago by a local engineer.  I acquired it around 8 years ago and have continued to operate it and to restore it back to as original condition as current conditions allow.  I'm selling it as I plan to downsize and move in the next year and I won't have room for this transmitter.  It needs a new loving home.

Price is $4950 firm.

Non original parts -
Modulators were changed to 100th from 75th tubes and bias circuit modified.
It has been used with solid state rectifiers for many years.  The rectifier filament transformer is non original however it has been disconnected due to the use of the solid state devices.
The power transformer was replaced with one size up from original, same manufacturer.

Included in the sale-
One set of tubes -
On air testing -
3 wire 20amp 125 volt power cord
Coil set for one channel - your choice of one - 160, 80 or 40 meters
Box of misc spare parts, mostly for channel switching.
Documentation of work done.  Original manual available off the internet.
Delivery via my own pick up within 500 miles of 55437.  For more distant deliveries other shipping methods need to be arranged by the buyer.
Assistance with start up at its new home if required.

Also available -
A set of one final 4-125 and two 100th mod tubes tested at 90% - $250
Coil sets for the two bands not chosen with sale - $100 a set
A pair of NOS 3B28 rectifier tubes - $50
