Looking to buy 6 meter linear amplifier -- something capable of 800w to 1kw output. Will be using the amp primarily in AM service (at no more than 150w carrier). Either a converted hf amp, or something homebrew that works well, would do it. (Maybe a single 3-500Z, or pair of 4cx-125s/250s, or equivalent).
