I got my 160 meter station back on the air yesterday. Over the weekend, I went down to my NJ location and repaired the auto-answer phone coupler that I use for sending audio to and from that site when I am in Pennsylvania. I had the station on the air by remote control last night. Yes, the audio sounds "yellowy", as it is going through a regular POTS line...but at least I can get on.

I am still working on having that fallen utility pole replaced so I can put the "Cottage of Wattage" back on the air in PA...but I need to find steady work first. I miss my dusk-to-dawn light as well...but then, night is supposed to be dark, especially here in the country.

Hi Phil,

Great on getting your NJ location back on the air even with the restricted audio. I will look for you on the big 85 on Top Band.

That should serve as a good "band aid" until you get the pole back up in the air.

Look forward to hearing you from the PA location. I still can't get over the fact of your location there being about a 1/4 mile from my old High School. LOL !
