Yep. Never went to bed. never did.
Yaesu #1 is ready or testing into the load of Bird dummy. All the suspect bloated 22uf @250 caps changed out on both #1 and #2. AM filter board installed inside #1. New power distro board will be wired inside #2 tonite and rig tested for transmit fix-or-bust into same load of Bird dummy.
Gonset will be next - we will fix bandswitch and hook up tank circuit. We now have any ceramic bandswitch part we need, thanks to the Richmond Hamfest and W3JN who provided teh caps needed for both Yaesus.
Then, comes Flashbox, now nice and clean with that shiny capacitance. We will get rid of Hammy Hambone stupidity and install new coil and tuned input circuit. That may take a few days at minimum.
The logjam is finally breaking.
