Since the 2x813 deck isn't quite finished, here's the temp. lashup with the ol' singel 813 'shoebox' rig sitting on a wood tray.  Don't stick your finger in here Wink

But at 1600v @ 160 mils, 256 input and 190 or so out.  Can load up to 180 mils but whatever.

Yeah Frank, heard you slide in around midnight with the game announcement; not sure if you heard enough earlier to put me in your log, but you mentioned the viking 2 cdc and racal?(static crash) 6830.

Anyway the 813 lashup worked well enough to stay on the air.  Jeesz.. meters screwed right into the cab. rails. Wonder that I, almost a real ham, am still alive.

I think I had the 75A2A in super wide mode most of the night 'cept when that DRM crap started.  I listened to all of Steve's tapes; kind of like being in a time machine, last night all over again. Good fun and I think we flew not just one flag but a whole flock of them for AM.

Rick it sure was nice having you on the air last night.

Pam enjoyed the familiar voice and we were looking back on West Friendship and other times you've come out with the AM Festival Stations.

Your rig was hi hi FB WX OM all night and your efforts paid off.

thank yuh,
thank yuh very much.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say much to Pam, but always nice to hear her.
Yeah, chocolate chips from events past.  Sue sure loves to make 'em.

I 'think' I logged about 30 calls, 15 states including AZ so points for tube gear are around 75.  Sure you got a whole lot more.

And Happy New Year!

Hi Rick,

That "temporary" rig sounds really great here.  Thanks for the heavy metal contact(s).
Sure enjoyed it.  813s and 811As...what more could you want?  They just keep on going like the Energizer bunny.
