Wow, I ran across an episode of "Science Fiction Theatre" someone recently posted on YouTube. I was practically in diapers at the time when the show was re-run on Sat. afternoons (musta been 1959 or 60), but I vividly remember it for its opening sequence; a slow pan of buzzardly surplus gear (High tech at the time!)

AHHHH yes, The Science Friction Theater. I wonder if Mr Bradley was standing in front of that radar and it was really ON? A lot of nasty pulsed RF.
That and Twilight Zone and  Mr Wizard were my favorite TV shows...back then
There were a lot of strange movies about Ham radio too.

I guess you East Coast guys haven't seen Joe, W1GFH's radio room before.   And I'm sure you don't know that he wears a tie whenever he's on the radio.
