Is anyone in the group going to the Charlotte Ham Fest next weekend?
If so be sure to stop by the CC-AWA booth next to the wall on the left
as you come into the flea market area.
Look for the Antique Radio meet banner and the early radios
sitting on the table.

We'll be talking about radio collecting and the upcoming Charlotte
Antique Radio Show.

Hope to see ya there.

Ron if you get a chance, have someone snap some JPEGs to post on here.

I've tried to get Andy and the SAMRC group to consider posting and participating more on here, so's the folks farther north know that you guys are actively doing stuff on the hamfest and operating circuit.

tnx in advance

Ron if you get a chance, have someone snap some JPEGs to post on here.

I took some pics of the BA gear that was there.
I can't seem to get to the gallery to upload them.
In the gallery instructions it says there's a tab at the
top of the page where the "HOME, HELP, SEARCH, etc, etc," tabs are
located, there's one for GALLERY. I don't see one.
On the left side there's a button for GALLERY, but it just loops back
to where you started.
Someone show we how to get there and I'll post some photos
of the Charlotte fest.

Do you see a "My Gallery" down in the right side ?

Clicking on that gives you an "upload" option.

If you exceed the maximums, which are 1000px width by 1000 px height, it won't take and there's no pop-up window telling you why. They just don't take.

So make sure your image size in both directions does not exceed either of those parameters. If you've got photo editing software, you can reduce an existing image down in a proportional way. Use the larger of the two numbers to get below the 1000 pixel limit.  SAVE it as a different file name so you don't wipe out the original higher quality image on your local hard drive. Do not save any changes to your original file name or that's that on that.

If you shoot horizontally (landscape), then that's the larger number. Reduce to 999 pixels and the height will proportionally follow.

All this may change after Gary completes some changes to the site that are underway as this is written. It may also explain why you may not see some of the links I've mentioned.

Lets give a bit of time to the process of proving out the site changes then see what up.

Well it looks like there's a Gallery button there now.
I don't see "My Gallery" anywhere, maybe I'm going blind...
When I go to the gallery I see the add photos button, but
when I click on it I can only see the Dayton 2007 Gallery
and no way to change to another one or add my own.

Sorry to be SO much trouble.

We're getting closer all the time.
Now I find an empty gallery called HamFests,
great, I click add picture and then upload a picture
that should be well within the size limits.
I get an error, it says I have exceded my file limits,
I go back and look and it says files are limited to 9.77kb,
that's a REALLY small picture.
I'll try making one that small and see how it looks.
