probably a Hill-Rom bed. Yeah they joked around that they try to make sure everyone gets the least sleep possible at night.  Angry

A Hospital is the only place I know of, that will wake you up in the middle of the night, to give you a sleeping pill.

I begged my nurse every night to give me my 10 mg of Ambien that I had a prescription for. Every time they denied my request claiming that it would interact with my pain medication. I had to work my way up the management chain in order to get my nightly dose of Ambien.

look it up on drugs.com - will tell you everything you need to know about any drug. I have told doctors about drug interactions that they did not know existed.

if you want to know about a drug, consult your pharmacist. They know drugs. Doctors don't know drugs nearly as well.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Last winter I started getting a cellulitis infection on my lower left leg. Not nearly quite as bad as whayt you got however. At first I didn't know what it was. The leg was hot, extremely red and swollen, and I was running a fever as the infection rapidly travelled further and further up the leg.  I called the doctor and he told me to report to the hospital immediatly. Fortunately for me it was mild enough where I only had to stay in the hospital for a day, mostly for blood tests and IV antibiotic therapy. But I was also put on a strong oral dose of antibiotics for about a month afterwards. Now that I know what to look for I'll get to a doctor or hospital immediatly if I ever see anything like that start happening again. Pretty scary stuff.
