Yes direct on 3705 in AM

Very good conditions this morning! First I heard Brent on 3880, but
this feq. wasn't clean. Strange carriers and noise. I asked Brent to move to 3705. He did en how? Shocked Very, very good signal from W1IA.
I listend with Inverted-V and horizontale Dipole. But most times Brent were strongest on the V!!
Later PA1SBV were on 3705 and evenso he made a qso with Brent. 'Big' W2DTC Ken were listening, I received a recording from him. And from Brent I got several recordings.... great! Roll Eyes
I using 'only' +/- 140 Watts output (PL 519) all 'home-made'.....

Thanks for this nice morning, Wink

Henk,
Was the most outstanding conditions in a long time, 20 over signals from you and Tjerk. Nice station pictures from Tjerk PA1SBV. Too bad Ken W2DTC did not turn on his transmitter; but he was listening. Also nice e-mails from Oene.

Henk:
Heard you fine last night from New Jersey talking to Brent. I was cleaning up a National NC-183D receiver and had about 25 feet of wire on the cellar floor as an antenna (combination of several clip leads and a length of junk coax). You were at times about S-4 or 5. Switched over to the outside antenna and your signal jumped up at times to S7 to S9. With the outside antenna, Brent actually pinned the 183D S meter at times. Signals were very good.

I listened to 3705 for a little while last night around midnight (0400 UTC) .  At first I heard Ken W2DTC calling PE1MPH and no answer. There was a lot of static crashes.  Later, I could hear one station talking with Henk in English.  I didn't get the call letters but the voice sounded French, F6???.  Most of the time that fellow was quite readable but the other side of the QSO, which I think was Henk, was not readable at all.

I would like to see if I can make contact with Henk on 3710 using the MK-214D. I may have to 'juice' the output a little but I can get 350 watts rather easily.

Hi Tom, that station was F6AQK from South France.
Mostly we (Pe1mph and he) are around 04.00 Londen GMT on 3705.
But first this morning (by us) I heard Ken calling me.
A pity conditions were poor this morning Angry
(Later F6AQK goes to 3590)

Keep your eyes on 3705, and we are listening on 3880/3885.
This morning I received Brent only on 3875, but weak...

Greetings,

Missed the fun but received a recording from Henk. (See link below) Brent was really rolling into Europe. Great signals and great conditions. We has T-storms here last night, so no radio action.  Sad

Spoke to Brent briefly on 3875, then QSY'd down to 3705.  All I could hear through the crashes were weak carriers, but could not decipher the voices through the QRN.
