Help!

In testing my rebuilt speech amplifier (see www.w8vr.org), a capacitor gave up the ghost.  They just never made those things to be reliable - after all, it was only about 65 years old!

I had re-formed it, seemingly successfully, before re-building the amp, but a few more hours, this time under actual conditions, the silly thing heated up and blew its fuse.

It's a 16uf 600v metal can, with a threaded single-hole mount.  The can is 1 3/8" dia. and 4 3/8" tall.

If you have such a can, or know of a good capacitor rebuilder, pls let me know.

I know that there are many many internet articles on how to rebuild them, but I'd prefer that it be done by an experienced individual, so I'm not going to do it myself.

Besides, it'd be simpler to just buy one!

Tnx es 73.
