Hi,
Does anybody knows the conversion between "letter" numbering and "figure" numbering ?
I own a ART-13 with an external AC/DC power supply with different power plug...
It is not the common U-7 plug...it is a plug (female) and socket (male) numbered "A to M" (M is center pin)...
Who knows about this configuration Huh
I´m sure, there is no modification done on my ART-13...

73,
Art HB9DCO

I'm really suspecting that it has been changed. I can't really tell by the picture, but are there a few pins that are larger than the others to handle heavier current for filament supply? The U-7 connector is usually so hard to find, and expensive when possibly found, that someone may have made use of a more commonly found connector pair.

Phil's right about the larger pins..... they have to carry the filament power along with the auto tune current.

If I understand correctly, you have the power supply -- plug her in and measure the voltages. This will give you the answers. I've got a manual for this beast; let me know if you need some more info. There is a nice piece in Electric radio a few years ago. You may want to get a copy of the  magazine. Click on the link here on AMfone and search for the month(s) needed. There was a missprint in the main piece, the next month had a correction.

Hi all,
Thanks very much for your help...

I don´t know if somebody has modified in the past...see pics for better understanding...

Yes indeed, I plug and measure all the voltages...
The only problem, the story with +plate meter and -plate meter etc...

We rewired the external powersupply (shipping damage), and we are not sure, if all is correct...the plug we didn´t remove...

If somebody has a manaul with this connectors installed, I really like a copy, please...

Where I can find the informations:

AM phone...show me the way...I´m a greenhorn...hi
Electric Radio...I just registered...but where I can find...
