Went this AM with K1VYU. Nice fest with a pretty good turnout. Reasonable amount of boatanchors.
Came close to getting a SX-100 but the vendor was nowhere to be found.

Picked up a Gonset HF convertor to go into the truck- just need a 6 V AM radio to go ahead of it!

Saw Frank, GFZ and some others. Lets hope Nearfest is as nice

Didn't the guy leave the window down a crack that you could just shove the money in the slot ?

I've actually seen that done -- vendors not just with junk box items, either.

I saw an old buzzard rolling away that SX-100 up into the parking lot towards the end of the fest. The old buzzard had the thing perched on top of his rolling walker/seat! I hope he got it at a good price. As I remember, the marked price was pretty decent...........Larry

Vendors were selling these crap type n connectors with a back like a pl259. I was bummed. Bought a Drake PS7 12 volt 25 amp supply. Also got a nice Fluke hand held DVM that measures cap values.

Marked was $185. I was going to counter at $150. Nice looking unit.No problem as I have enough projects.

Hey Carl I saw our bird friend coming in for a landing on the lamp post beside RT20. It was beautiful.

She must like you Frank, I have not seen her at all this year.
You heading up to NF?

First time in years I will not be there Friday due to the rotten forecast. I am thinking of heading up Friday night and hitting it Sat AM
