..hi from tim...i need the wiring info fer the 122 vfo, into the viking2...let me explain further....
..my 122 is ok fine into my viker...but, a friend picked up a viker, and there is no b+ on his 122, or mine...there is the 6.3 on the filament on the 6au6,so, it tells me, that his viker acc socket is wired differently....so if you can provide the wiring fer the acc socket, as well as the 122, i'm sure i can get this old girl going...btw, it werks with a xtal...
..interesting, his viker is the CC version....kind of old odd version....

As supplied and designed by Johnson: Pin 3 is B+ on both the 122 and the Viking II. Pins 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 are all ground on the Viking II. Pin 7 is filament. Pin 8 is keying.

This if for a standard Viking II, but I wouldn't think the CDC would be any different.

Tim,
I have a scan of the CDC if you want a copy of the manual. send me a pm with your email address. 122 wiring to the acc socket is the same though. Check the contacts on the socket.
