Didn't the "gasohol" cause damage to gaskets in the fuel system?
I've heard that and it sounds plausible. I was never able to run gasohol often enough to know for sure but the Audi survived it.
Also agree corn is about the worst choice they could have made for a multitude of reasons.
I have heard that the hemp plant works as well as corn, but there is a really stupid law against growing the plant. Not sure what part of the plant would be fermented to produce alcohol. Maybe the fuel would be produced by pressing oil from the seeds, not by fermentation.
Industrial hemp is NOT the same thing as marijuana. The plant is similar, but has very little THC. Getting high smoking hemp would be like getting drunk drinking O'Douls or Nearbeer.
Read that too. I wish the powers-the-be would be a little more open-minded about exploring the alternatives out there. Ooops, the lobbyists just called...never mind.
