With major oil refineries idled and scores of offshore oil platforms knocked out, the price of gas continues to wreak havoc across the land.

Kind of a lame take off on Quest for Fire. Gas prices are down 40-50 cents where I live.

Futures markets spiked up today because of hurricane Rita.  I'm sure the retailers will follow suit even though the prices for Octobers futures blipped.

I guess I just found one side-effect of running with Javascript disabled.  I clicked on the Petrotheism link and the animation did not load.  Re-enabled it, and it came up normally.

What a scam. Every time a storm cloud appears the price jumps 6 bucks a barrel WTF
