Does anyone know if the original 6SK7's in an SX24 were glass or metal?

My SX24 has a mixture. Does it make any difference using one or the other?

Metal tubes were the rage then.

They were thought of as better for RF as they were already shielded.

Not being gifted with Hallicrafters knowledge, I couldn't say as to what was original.

They came with metal and pin 1 on the sockets is grounded to the shell. Metal were popular to many brands but sales leaders such as Philco and Zenith refused to use them due to a big pissin contest with RCA going back to the 20's.

Thanks Dennis & Carl for the replies.
I will find a couple more metal tubes for mine.
