This is great ! I used to really be into models when I was a teen . Here's one I might have to find a source for . Wonder if it is still available ?
Would be neat to have a model of the SCR299 next to the real thing . Would help explain things to people when they inevitably ask what the" hell is that ugly lump of iron from the stone age doing here ?"

Here is a link to a place to order it that I found just now.

Could probably make it so the roof comes off to see inside.

Looks interesting, but I do not see the model for sale with that link, and I could not find it in the menu or the search... Sad

Found it this way:

ARMOR » AZIMUT CONVERSIONS 1/35 » Reference AZI35131 ~ US RADIO SHELTER

searched on the "reference".

Really good paint/airbrush job in the display model. Now if they just had one with a T-368!

I was never that good at the models . Amazing the detail for 1/35th scale.

Their website is not that great but they do seem to have thousands of different models.

Before the age of computers and digital cameras the actual process of scaling and rendering a life size 3d object into a scale model was impressive. Now they just take a photo with a 3d camera that feeds into a computer that guides a milling machine and presto, molds !

Yes we should petition them to do a later shelter with a t-368 and one with the later 610's F, G ,H,and I.

Would be nice to make that model with a background scene and an external dual pop up mast antenna set up with a dipole .Perhaps a artillery battery nearby.

Where is the generator they would toe behind ??
