Greetings from Binghamton, NY,
Does anyone have any info on the Stancor TP-6? I have searched the web and came up with nothing.

Thanks much,
 Ray

Ray,
It is a power transformer (TP) but all the ones I can find in my old catalogs are 4 digit

In a 1961 stancor catalog they list a TP-1 as a "Transistor Power Transformer"

It has two 13 - 18 volt 900ma secondaries.

No other TP transformers listed.

So presumably the TP-6 a later, probably larger low voltage transformer for Transistor circuits.

You will probably have to measure the voltage and guess the current by weight.

Company is now called Stancor/White-Rogers
These people have them:
https://www.onlinecomponents.com/buy/STANCOR-WHITE-ROGERS/TP-6/
There's also a listing on Ebay for them.

The simple thing to do would be to e-mail Stancor/White-Rogers and ask for the specs:
http://www.stancor.com/wrdstc/index.html
Or maybe just crawl around their web site to see if they're listed. I did a quick crawl and didn't see any "TP" types.

All of this was found using Google.
