Brian is on his way back from Alaska running mobile on 14.286, 7.290. on his way to Vermont.  He was at the Minn line at last check in on Skype.

Thanks for the move. That was Friday when I heard from Brian. He should be getting close by now. Been listening on 7.290 and so far no Brian but there are about 6 people on 7.290 right now. It's now 10:28 AM

Thank YOU for posting it, Terry. I hope Brian is planning to join us at Deerfield next weekend. I know in previous years he timed his visits home to coincide with Hosstraders, haven't seen him at a NEAR-Fest event yet though.

Brian is an absolute hoot to spend time around. Along with his AM activities, he has a lot of other interesting stories from trains to moose and other critters.

If you hear him in there Terry, please pass him my regards and let him know we're looking forward to seeing him at Deerfield.

I worked brian on friday on 20M....we started out on SSb and then went to AM.....He was near Fargoat , Dakota at the time ....20 watts AM from the mobile...40 watts AM from me from the rice box...For awhile we had a 3way that included W7AX ,Lee.... Brians neighbor in Lake Havasu city...I listened yesterday on 20 but no hope with the contest going on..

Just heard from Brian's lady friend. She said he is planning to make it to the fester.

I'm about to hit the road to start the journey to NEAR-Fest Terry, but I'll try to give his brother a call tonight to see if he's made it to VT yet. I suspect he's there spending time with Pearl, his mom. She's gotta be in her 90s or close. And a ham, too.  Grin
