Description: Using my primitive woodworking skills, I extended the operating bench to make room for some changes and a few upgrades. A Flex 5000 has been added to the top shelf primarily for AM and SSB. The Pro III is used almost exclusively for CW and numerous digital modes while the TS-440 is used only for AM work. All three exciters are used to drive the AL-82 (pair of 3-500's) which I picked up through e-bay. The amp pumps out +250 watts of AM carrier without flinching, even with positive peaks approaching 150%. It also warms the room impressively on a cold day!
