Description: Here's the Junkyard Dawg.
This shot was taken with my cellphone, just after the RF deck was fired up for the first time.
The RF deck is at the top (you probably guessed that), and the HV supply is at the bottom. The modulator will be shoehorned into the space between them.
The warm orange glow is the 4-250 at about 200-250 mA of plate current. The picture makes it look brighter than it actually was. The screen voltage has since been bumped up, and the plate runs much cooler at that current level now.
This will be modulated by a pair of 811s and some manly iron.
It got it's name because all this came from Tim's scrap, stuff he was never going to use.
More pics to come!
