Thanks, that is absolutely the best, most hilarious example of "Chinglish" that I've ever seen! It's so outlandish that I thought it was fictional at first. For anyone who wants to see the actual product that this blurb refers to (read down a bit on the Amazon product page to find the description), it's here on Amazon—the UPC number of the product rather than the absurdly long URL:

Indeed it does, and right below the "product description" pictures, you'll find the text in question.

And it's a professional manual antenna tuner! Not for amateur radio use.  Grin

The point of my post was not what was in the actual description of the amazon ad but the fact you can take any long URL and present it as a letter, word, or phrase. A simple point and click.

Knowing absolutely nothing about the Chinese language, I can't help but wonder if maybe shoe, frog, or octopus are English translations of Chinese names for low-powered transceivers. In the western world those would be odd names for radio transceivers, but not only is the Chinese language vastly different, but Chinese cultural perceptions are vastly different, too. "Shoe" as a marketing name for a radio might have a potential western buyer scratching his head, but might resonate just fine with a potential Chinese radio buyer.
In any event, the careless translations are entertaining.

for a moment there I thought maybe there was some sort of clandestine communication going on here.  it starts off with a cryptic message followed by a series of numbers.

I recently retired from  Panasonic after 45 years. We had our own version to deal with which we referred to as Japlixh. In all fairness, engineers would arrive knowing no English and would learn enough in about 30 days to be very functional. When asked if I wanted to learn Japanese, they told me the easy was was to go to Japan for 1-2 months and find a girlfriend. You will learn very fast!

Check out this site below. Many categories, so explore. In Japan,”engrish” can be found on every street!

Japanese is considered to be an exceptionally difficult language for English speakers to learn, so I imagine the reverse would be likewise challenging, giving me a boatload of respect for someone who can not only make such a rapid transition but accomplish it well enough to function in an engineering environment.
