I purchased a clean Sonar 80 Monobander rig. Unfortunately it came with no power supply, manual, schematic etc..  Can anyone help? I really would like to get it back on the air (even if on SSB).

As an aside I think at one point it was used mobile as its fitted with knurled nuts on either side to attach it to a under dashboard mount. I wonder how they solved the antenna issue - big loaded whip?

Its of 2018 but the user wd-12 with the manual for the purportedly very similar '65' may still be around.
It's the 4th post.

Thanks, I saw this post as well, and tried to email wd-12 several days ago but nothing heard. I’ve now posted a reply on that thread to see if that will spark something.

I am a member of the Facebook group mentioned above.

It's mostly CB radio oriented but a few of the guys in there are really up on Sonar equipment and have quite large libraries.

It's worth a try to look into that group.

Matt Bee may have some info....  He is / was big on restorations for people of older equipment.  I believe he's a member of said group as well.
