This is an excellent white paper on PWM filter design. Jim once designed PWM modulators for Continental. His largest filter design was for a 600KW carrier, 2400KW transmitter.

Jim has written a number of great articles on design.
I have used his ELSIE program for years.
You can design the pwm filter of your choice on ELSIE in a few minutes and the tune feature allows you to see the effects of changes in real time on the plot fir the filter.
I am very grateful for his great contribution to making design much easier.
Others who do not know his site might find it useful.

I use Elsie, his Pi-L software and Meter.  His site is a goldmine.
