In the address line on my computer I get the "Not secure/amfone.net/....etc." message. Should I be concerned???
the site works great and I have a lot of confidence in youguys at AMfone,
It is saying the site AMfone is "Not secure", Is this something I need to do something about??
I love this site and I do want to keep using the site.

It is not a problem.

A webmaster can buy a so-called trusted certificate and host it on the server, and on those sites you will see
"https://website-name dot whatever".

On 'regular' sites you will see
"http://" and they have not the certificate.

https should be always found on bank sites, paypal, etc. anywhere theftworthy data is transacted.

Sometimes it is not there until the login process or after.
That is, it's http until you click on a 'login' button then the page changes to an https page.

The meaning of https is that your session with the site is encrypted from your browser to their server, making it harder for a casual snoop in between to steal your data without something popping up to warn you.

There are also free certificates as well but some folks pooh-pooh them. Free is good though because the things have to be bought again each year. Free is good for casual use where you don't want your guests' activity to be seen by casual snoops, justy for privacy reasons.

http = hyper text transfer protocol
https = hyper text transfer protocol secure

Someone else may explain it better. also see wikipedia
