Running 125W carrier, chatting with Don KYV on 1885 last night, 0345Z. Local noise bad, but did manage to be heard on the 40' vertical. Don told me I was "not that strong". I don't know if this translates to PW by some standards.

At that point, plate current pegged the meter and the qso stopped for fear of spontaneous combustion.
