The Voice of Fulton County

« on: August 08, 2012, 10:54:06 PM »

This just started today. I come here and log in, then look around some. I then go to another website. Now, I decide to come back here and when I get here, I'm logged out. I didn't close the browser any time between the first and second visit, but every time I leave this site and come back, I have to log in again.

Somehow, by clearing history and cache, but not cookies, I was able to get it to work normal. This is on Firefox 14 for Ubuntu.

I dump cookies & clear all cache, temp. at each firefox session close, no troubles like being logged out.

Maybe you had some old file causing it, but I thought login is maintained by checking your cookie(s).

There is a PHPSESSID cookies and a SMFCookie10 in the AMFone jar here at this time.. Never any issues with them.

I get Latencies or timeouts from time to time. Unknown cause, mysterious internet..

That's what I can't figure out, why it worked after i cleared the history and cache, but left the cookies alone.
