How come I am now getting to a page that asks me if I want to continue receiving email notices of replies instead of just going there?

This just started and is a useless extra step.

I guess you are talking about viewing your Private Messages.  I just checked my PMs, and I didn't get this notice.  I probably don't have e-mail notification turned on in my profile, though.  I find the pop-up notification works better for me.

E-mail notification can be a problem for a message board, because sometimes people just call it spam to make it go away, and then the message board gets wrongfully tagged as an e-mail spammer.  So maybe the question was meant to appear once a month but it got screwed up  (very easy) and it shows up every time.  My guess.

I was referring the the check box at the end of the out going messages that says "notify me of replies".  these notifications appear in my email and I just click on them and they were taking me directly to the bottom of the appropriate forum discussion.

Now it takes me to a page that asks me if I want to turn off the reminder instead of the page I want.

However, it did not do it this time so.... I know nothing.
