Site Update Layout Issue! Change This PLEASE???!!!

FYI, I am on a 1024 wide monitor and due to the lack of cable TV or DSL availability also on a dial-up.

I like most of the new look, but one issue - the width of the actual topic listings and even the threads themselves is truncated in width compared to the older layout. I'm not sure what has exactly changed to cause this.

Either the stuff to the right (the photo gallery, search, etc) needs to move, or else the page needs to be set up so that it opens up to whatever width and then you can horizontally scroll the window as needed to get the meat of the issue in the "sights".

Something is different for sure.

If you could please address this, I for one would be most appreciative.

Correction:

sorry, the aforementioned photo gallery etc appears to appear only on the thread listing pages of the "Technical" main page not on the actual expanded thread page itself... so it's the pages with the thread topics listed that are being squished. And maybe only that one... or else you fixed it before I got to the others... 

And as long as we're on this topic, what about the blue font color?
