Title: Johnson Viking Valiant band change problem Post by: W1OAT on January 23, 2025, 08:28:36 PM Evening all.
I need help with my Viking Valiant. I have managed to get the band change cam all out-of-wack with the rotary switches. It started with a loose band change knob and escalated from there. Is there a description/tutorial on how to re-set the band change. I’ve been looking on the internet, alas to no avail. Thanks 73 Daniel W1OAT I would highly recommend you order a a good quality Valiant manual from ManualMan and seriously examine the construction steps for the Kit. I don't know how many times I've gone through beating my head against the wall, walk away from it nearly giving up, maybe ask some questions, then all of a sudden the solution becomes apparent. I've awakened myself at times in the middle of the night with something I didn't recognize immediately then implement the late night thought the next day and viola. Glad you got it working, Dan.
