It’s located on the common lawn adjacent to the Town Dock, home of the only commercial fishing fleet in Connecticut. Hundreds of traps, thousands of lights, all held together by gravity and zip ties. You can go inside it where the view overhead is spectacular! It’s become an instant hit with everyone around here and a great venue for family Christmas photographs.
That’s my favorite Christmas present on the Tacoma, a genuine Webster Bandspanner antenna which I came across brand new in the box, although going on 60 years old at Nearfest in October. Something the like of which I have been looking for many years. Finding it at Nearfest was an early Christmas miracle! May this Christmas bring you and yours joy, peace and happiness. The thing is incredibly bright, has seven small parabolic reflected LEDs that themselves are arranged on a parabolic backplane. Wonder if it could be modulated for light wave voice comms?
