I wrote a reply and added some info including diagrams and a pix of the monitor. Must have done something wrong because I'm "locked out" of the topic. When I click on it, all I get is a blank screen. Title: Re: Problem With Post Post by: W9ZSL on May 08, 2019, 11:29:37 AM Since the test calls for using the entire secondary, I figured out that 5K plus a 20 ohm wire-wound pot would do the job. One leg of the pot and one side of the secondary is grounded. All I have to do is lift the center tap from ground and plug in the resistor/pot combo and that should do it! Thanks!

This happened once before. At any rate, problem is solved. I found a 5K, 20 watt resistor that should work just fine for the test of the driver. 73!
