Since this is the night of nights as they say, it would be nice if their information links worked.
What is the night of nights?

I worked him on 40 meters, 7.050, listened on 80 meters at 3.550 but heard nonething.

I sent my call sign and QRS a number of times and he answered, then sent a RST which I later realized I got wrong, sent a 55 when it should have been a 599.

He did answer me but did not slow down to my very slow speed, for all I know he might have also sent QLF a bunch of times too!!

I listened for all of the commercial frequencies published on the above link from north of Philadelphia PA with my 75 meter dipole.
I heard all three 17 MHz frequencies,
all three 12 MHz frequencies,
one of two 8 MHZ frequencies (hrd KPH).
I did not hear the 6477 KPH transmission, no surprise.

Thanks to the Forum for bringing this event to my attention.

If I remember right, KSM is on the air every Saturday for a few hours, I've heard them several times.

Well worth it. We stayed in Olema last July and made the trip out to the receiving site on the way to the lighthouse. Nobody there at the time so I walked around a little bit. Family in car so it wasn't long. I suggest looking for their schedule and see the station from inside instead of peeking thru the door like I did. Really a cool place and the only noise was wind. I didn't make the transmitter site. Must have been a spooky job at night, it is plenty dark out there but the star cover at night was amazing. Hope to get back soon.
