Title: Anyone recognize this radidio? Post by: w3jn on February 04, 2005, 08:53:00 AM Bought this on eBay for twenny bux. A cool little crapstal-controlled SSB transciever. All solid state except for what looks like a 6146 wrapped in a heatsink(!). Has an internal HV suckply also. 1650 KHz IF, single crapstal per channel.
It's about the size of a loaf of bread but a little deeper (picture makes it look bigger than it really is). There are NO markings on it that would give a clue to its manuafacture. Would really appreciate any info - who made it, when, manual/skizmatic? It has a few problems (inverter transistors shorted, probably bad electrolytics in the IF, etc...) and more info is always better. Thanks and 73 - John (http://i7.ebayimg.com/01/i/03/39/43/fc_1_b.JPG) more pics at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5744806396&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT Title: Anyone recognize this radidio?
