Frank always sound good on that 101 he gets on 75 meters 4 am about!

YEAH !

I've worked Frank's setup at 4am on 75 as well. 

Sure sounds nice on 15m too.

What is your receive setup?  Sounds like you've got a nice amount of selectivity dialed in, not a lot of receive AVC, and decent tone quality from lows to highs.

Paul,

Rick's air checks are always top shelf. When you get a recording from VE6CQ you can be sure it sounds like the real deal! I have heard a rumor that he "rolls the tape" to make his recordings which means you and he are probably on the same page.
