Title: Sunday - 9:50EDT
Post by: WA3VJB on September 30, 2012, 09:51:58 AM
Hearing a GW8TBG  on 29.010 working a guy (WF2? ) who is on an FT1000

TBG was listening on an SX71, didn't catch his transmitter, said he has a Ranger, 32V and a Valiant to pick among.

He referred to his listing on QRZ.com  -- Station looks like this --

Yes, GW8TBG is often active on 10 with his Valiant/R390A shown in that picture

Band in nice shape this morning.  I worked 22 Europeans on 10AM from 13:28-14:51.  RJ6J was s9+20dB!  Many other strong signals as well.

Mervin was using an LG-300 tx which is an 813 modulated by a pair of 807s.
