Worked: KD2AYA KC9WCJ W2IQK W1VZR KC1CS Hoping to get more .286 activity in coming months as 20 is staying open well after sundown. Title: Re: 14.286 AM Post by: WA2ROC on September 20, 2012, 06:55:44 AM Just for jollies, I tuned up my Apache and Mohawk near 14.286 last evening. I heard a W7 talking at almost an S9 here in NC. I asked to join and got a pretty good report. Then KD6OS broke in and was even stronger.
I'm gonna keep the Apache/Mohawk set up on 20 AM for a while. Nice folks, good conditions and great signals. Thanks guys! They were "one on one" type QSO's which, to me, are a lot more enjoyable then 20 meter roundtables.
