    Any one familiar with yaesu freq. counter #yc-355d picked one up that works
but have no paper work for it. if you know of a web site that I might find or if you have paper work would be happy to pay for good copy.

I don't know if you tried BAMA but there seems to be an online manual you can download.  http://bama.sbc.edu/yaesu.htm .   I didn't look at it so I don't know what the quality is but there is a listing for that freq. counter.  Hope this helps.
