They're probably still being marketed by the same company that pioneered the dark-emitting diode and dark bulb technology Title: Re: ISO Signetics Device Post by: WB3JOK on March 31, 2022, 11:30:43 PM You're supposed to post that one tomorrow (April 1st) ;D
I have several WOMs, but don't know if they are pin compatible with the Signetics part! 8) Title: Re: ISO Signetics Device Post by: WA2SQQ on April 01, 2022, 08:22:36 AM I’m also in search of LADs (light absorbing diodes)
Title: Re: ISO Signetics Device Post by: WA2SQQ on April 01, 2022, 11:10:26 AM Back in the 20's, potentiometers were scarce, so you adjusted the gain of a receiver by changing the value of the grid leak resistor. Resistors were cartridge type. MUTER released a Grid Leak Drip Pan that hung on the resistor.
