Title: 10 Meter Dog Xray almost
Post by: W2VW on August 22, 2012, 09:07:45 PM
VK4VN on 29000 01:00 UTC.

Very muffled audio and I cannot work him with 20 watts although he hears me calling.

Maybe a sign of better things to come.

I heard w2 very weak (aka very wierd) on the powerhouse 29.620 output repeater last night. Nice E-skip conditions then. Today, not so much.

Tnx fer rpt. That's a long haul for me. 125 miles to the input and 140 or so from the output. Ducting helps but their site is too far west for a lot of that.

You should have said hello  : )

You are absolutely right, and apologize that I didn't. There are times when I am in a real listening mood, and just don't feel like TXing. Kind of like being relaxed and just prefer listening to others enjoying the hobby. That was one of those times.

Next time I hear you, I promise to hit the PTT.  :)

Just worked VK2WF 28.990 AM 23:04 UTC.

Hears W0ETD on 29.000 in QSO. Worked him yesterday similar time.

Dust off those rigs.
