It wasn't very popular because of this. I recall no big sweat when we lost it. I have a FT-301 that's been tricked to xmit on 11. Never used it on xmit. I was working my only rig a kenwood ts440 sat with a dipole at about 35 feet. As the antenna is oriented east west a 40 watt contact with yukon is making me real happy.

Most operators give up after a couple of tries.
