Title: Do you need oxygen-free copper conductors to do this?
Post by: k4kyv on February 16, 2007, 01:55:29 PM
Results indicate that grounding the human body to earth ("earthing") during sleep reduces night-time levels of cortisol and resynchronizes cortisol hormone secretion more in alignment with the natural 24-hour circadian rhythm profile.

I'll strap on my static-stopper wrist band a ground myself to the shack grounding buss.. If all else fails I'll prevent myself from getting struck by lightning! LOL

Don, that makes perfect sense to me. You see, when we evolved sleeping on the ground our bioenzymes were keyed to this. As we got technology and invented mattresses, we broke the nightly ground connection thus screwing up our biorythms.
Grounding, or "Earthing", has many uses. If you wear a large "Earthed" metal funnel over your head, the Aliens can't probe your mind at night.

If I work in anti-static lab all day "grounded" by my wrist strap do I need to stay insulated all nite ? Or is grounding for 17 hours a day OK ? Or is that how Don King got his hairdoo ??

I have ESD shoes so maybe I should sleep with my shoes on standing in the lab or outside on the ground. It could be a problem sleeping as you build up static charges from crap building up behind your AH.

i once got in trouble with Motorola for a comment i made to a factory rep looking at a base station install we had done and it's grounding. he did not like the grounding, and i asked him straight out if he grounded his (male organ) when he went to bed at night...he was lacking a sense of humor, big time.
