Description: This is a very special radio to me. Prior to my being a Ham I use to buy and restore old radios. This is the radio that introduced me to AM Radio on the ham bands.
While working on the chassis I turned that radio on and tuned around. I heard all this garbled sound ( SSB) but in the middle of it I heard people talking. They were pissing and moaning in a radio event called the Piss & Moan net.
Yes this was my first introduction to this world we play in.
I have restored this radio top to bottom. The cabinet was a chore as it had been in a fire and had water and smoke damage.
