IIRC, Mike ran a quad of 811's in push-pull parallel for the modulators. Cool stuff and he always sounded good.

A nice recording of Mike from Indian Trail Park (Pennsville), Pennsylvania. Mike was a true old-timer; I believe he passed on in the late 90's. I miss hearing the older guys like Mike on the air. I always enjoyed the sound of Mike's homebrew transmitter, which I guess pretty much stopped when he did. 73
