Brrrr- it's cold in the shack! Fire up the BIG RIG

Hi can anyone ID the manufacturer of this tool?
It is a wire stripper.
I have one.
Would like to find another... mine is getting a bit worn out now.

Oddly enough I missed one on epay that appeared with the wrong application shown, about a month and a half ago:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&rt=nc&nma=true&item=300537324837+&si=ChVTSfAnb6wKf16QLFB2dBMxKOY%253D&viewitem=&clk_rvr_id=233378258780

I'd be interested to know who made it.
If you have one for sale, i'd be interested in acquiring it too...

I won't bet the bank on it, but you might try Allen Bradley to see if that's one of their tools.

Allen Bradley is very unlikely... this is almost certainly an import of some sort...

I got this one about 20+ years ago, and it was not new when I got it at the swap meet in LA...

Would love to have another, this one is on its last legs, the mechanism that makes it spin is a ratchet wheel in the handle and most of the little plastic ratchets are broken, so it hardly spins now... doesn't seem like a practical thing to repair since it is a sealed mechanism where the ratchets are - would be so much nicer to find a twin...

Bingo!

Good one Jim!  Looks like it is the same company. I emailed them, we'll see what they say. Maybe they have "spares"? One can hope...

Is it a wire wrap tool or a wire stripper?  The eBay one says it's a wrap tool but it looks identical to the item inquired about.

Stripper.

I think I said that it was improperly classified in the auction...

Well, no response from my email of enquiry... looks like if you move the "company" to Malta, you have taken the funds and gone on vacation?

Oh well, but for a single "spare", just one part sitting in a little teeny tiny bag
on a shelf... Sad Whaaaaaa!
