As the time is getting kind of close, i am trying to get some kind of head count so I know how much food, etc to prepare. If you plan to attend please try to give me some kind of heads up so I know what to prepare for, either here, by telefonium, or by email. <kb3ahe@starpower.net>. If you need directions please feel free to contact me. For those wondering about bringing the YL's this is a YL friendly party, as My YL and others will be there. I have heard many talking about it on the air, it has always been a great get together. I look foreward to seeing everyone!
Be there or be square!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello All,
If anyone needs a ride down from the area between Philly and NYC please let me know. I have a large car at my disposal and would be happy to take you down and bring you back up.

I'd greatly enjoy the company!

How about the BigBenz? Unfortunately, the '49 Cadillac needs a little more work to make a long trip, and ditto with the 12 cyl Jaguar. Even when it's road ready, it only gets about 6MPG on the highway!

What Say?

Is this a good flea?
Wonder how long it would take to drive down from the Boston area?
If I wore my Viking hat would I be accepted?

Remember, guys, what makes a pharty a success is not the host, or the location, but the diversity of the attendees! You all have been just as big a part of the success of the party as I have! The guests are just as much a part of it as the host! You all have made this a happening event, and I thank you all! I enjoy having all of you here just as much as you all enjoy coming. It looks like it will be another good turnout this year, and I cant wait to see you all. I am looking forward to it!!!!

Frank, I already said that I would be there but I just wanted to re-iterate about the diversity and just the thrill of the eyeball QSO's to be had. Terry, N4RQ, I'm looking forward to meeting you shipmate Cheesy. I might even dig up my old USS America hat and wear it just for you Wink

I was at the US Navy Radioman School in Bainbridge, MD for a few months back in 1969.
Then I went to the USS Fulton, a submarine tender for a few years.
Had a great time.
Might be nice to visit the Maryland area again. Loved those Crabcakes!

I will try to point my Mustang south at the end of the month.
Maybe I will even bring my guitar to do the 3 Dylan songs I know.

Q if you bring the ax I'll bring the harps.

You in C, or G ?  QTF, I'll bring the whole belt.

I ought to bring the camcorder too, and we can REALLY make us an East Coast video.

Well my harmonica is in C and on my guitar I can actually play a few chords (A, C, D, G, F, E)
Fortunately Bob Dylan knew the same chords so I can play a few of his songs.
I guarantee that my music isn't very good but it will be a million laughs.
If my boss doesn't send me somewhere that week and I can find one of the local HAMS to
ride with me (I think I found one) then I'll point the pony south. I hope the New Jersey State Troupers take kindly to an old duffer driving a Mustang wearing a Viking hat driving down their turnpike.
Looks like this is a rather large flea market.
