Hi from Tim..My viking2 is losing power when i'm transmitting... load ok,swr good,etc..plate current doesnt change,but during a buzzard transmission,my power will start to go down...by the end of some transmissions it may be as low as 70 watts,from 100 watts when i first throw the switch..ideas?..tnx...sk..

Try a higher band that doesn't use loading padders. You have weak finals if the grid current doesn't change. If it works on higher bands fixed loading caps could be drifting. fc
