Anyone else notice that propagation on 160 has been very spotty?

I know summer is not prime top band time, but wonder what's up.
Aside from the normal snaps, crackles and pops I have a hard time hearing stations who normally strap in here.
I had to go outside and check the antenna feedline a couple of times it was so bad.

I suspect that 160 is little effected by the sunspot cycle, anyone have an other suggestion?
